I think being born, raised, schooled, and socialized in the Pacific NW has made me more ecologically conscious. Not that I live the greenest life right now, but I want to foster that awareness in following generations (nowadays, you can't help but be aware of it). As great the idea of cloth diapers being better for the environment is, I can't wrap my head around scrubbing poopie from them daily, or paying for that service.
Lo and behold, here comes gDiapers. They're flushable/compostable hybrid cloth diapers. The website has a video that compares how they stand up against leading disposables and unbleached disposables in a compost pile, and after 50 days, there is not trace of the gDiaper except for a faint outline. Pretty freakin' cool! (Or "PFC!" if you're Art)
Hint, hint, these would make a cool shower gift!
