37 weeks!

Okay, so I was a lazy-butt today and didn't take any photos of my glowing girth. But I felt compelled to write a little something, otherwise some of you would start to assume that my absent entry meant I was probably sitting in a hospital bed. 

Nope! Not yet, people!

Over the weekend, Aaron and I cooked up several batches of different entrees to put in the freezer. We probably won't need them in the first several weeks after baby, since my Mom will also be here to help watch baby in case one of us needs to run to the store for food, and she's an awesome cook, to boot! Aaron will be going on a fishing trip for a week after my Mom goes back to Alaska, so I have a feeling I'll be defrosting those entrees during that week, if I don't visit our family in Jacksonville.

In keeping with my weekly updates, here's my babycenter.com update for this week:

Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. But don't be surprised if your baby's hair isn't the same color as yours. Dark-haired couples are sometimes thrown for a loop when their children come out as blonds or redheads, and fair-haired couples have been surprised by Elvis look-alikes. And then, of course, some babies sport only peach fuzz.

If I'm not too tired, I'll snap a photo or two after work tomorrow. I've outgrown my purple scrubs (and really can't stand wearing the white maternity scrub pants), so I've been defaulting to the green OR scrubs.
