Kuya Alex introduced us to Baby Mum-Mums, a rice cracker that melts in her mouth. It's the same texture as Communion host at church. Maddie loves them, and it's helped her get more coordinated at self-feeding.
She's such a talkative baby, too. *ahem* Especially at around 5am. It's funny, she'll talk to herself for about 45 minutes then go back to sleep for another hour and a half. She can say a few different syllables, like Da, Ma, Ba, Ga, but her favorite thing to say lately is Uh-Ohhh! It's funny, every once in a while she'll string these three syllables together and we'll hear her say "Ohh-Ba-Ma"! Maybe we've been watching too much CNN!
