Maddy spent a weekend at her Ninang (Godmother) Crystal's last month. It was the first time I had ever spent any number of nights away from her. Of course, I worried about her and how she'd handle a different environment. But she did great! She even warmed up to Crystal's dog, Cassie, who - at a previous visit - had left a bad taste in Maddy's mouth (literally) after too many unwelcome doggy kisses. This time around, they got along famously, as you can tell from the video. Maddy kept trying to get Cassie to chase her up and down the hallway, I think she wore herself and the dog out at the same time!
I guess that says something about her energy levels, when the spry young dog can't even keep up with my spry young toddler!
