Okay, okay. I know, I know....long time no post. I have my reasons, but thanks for checking here often enough to care about whether or not I've posted anything!
I couldn't not post her birthday party from last month. It was a small party, we had our neighbor and her granddaughter, as well as her godmother's family over for some awesome barbeque and ice cream cake. We bought Maddy a tricycle, since her legs are just about long enough to reach the pedals. She wasn't as thrilled about the bike as she was about the presentation ("Elmo balloon!")...
She appears appalled that I am unable to carry a simple tune, but I don't think she was prepared for all eyes to be on her when we sang "Happy Birthday", either. When she covers her mouth, it's a sure sign that she's feeling nervous or embarrassed.
I still can't believe it's been two years since she came into our world. I can remember bringing her home for the first time like it was yesterday. She's growing into an awesome little girl, and we love her to the moon and back.
