Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers we know and love!

Aaron was deployed last Father's Day, so this was a special day for him and Maddy. She was especially sweet to him today, too. We all went out to Sunday brunch, and had some really good food. Since they fudged our reservations, we got to sit at a special table in the "Cabo" room, it was the only table that had a tiki-hut canopy built around it in the corner. All eyes gravitated to our table when people entered the room, it was pretty funny. Maddy was very well-behaved, mostly because she was so focused on ravenously devouring her tortellini. That girl loves her pasta!

Aaron got a giant ladder for his Father's Day present. Gone are the days of watching him teeter precariously on the top step of his old ladder, thank goodness! I also want to take this opportunity to shamelessly brag about the card I made him for today, too. I got the idea from the dawnsstampingstudio blog, and altered it to look like Aaron's uniform:
