Ultrasound!

Today was our ultrasound. Baby was moving around like crazy next to my insanely inflated bladder. Made for a long appointment, but thankfully, we were the first ultrasound appointment of the day and we had a very patient Japanese technician.

Since our image scanner is en route to the United States, I had to take a photo of the ultrasound photos with our webcam. Sorry again for the shoddy image quality, and the backwards type. But here goes...

18 weeks and already a thumb-sucker (body at the left, head in the center facing up, right hand in mouth):

Other than that, the other photos were very blurry profiles with baby's fists in front of the face, obscuring the image. He didn't give us a printout of the crotch shot, either.

And I know you all want to know what the gender is. Aaron suggested that we keep it a secret for a little while. I think that's a horribly cheap trick to play on our friends and family.

But it sure sounds fun!

(Cue evil laughing) Mwuaahahahahaha! We'll see how many phone calls that brings us!
