Swaddle Weaning Part II

Okay, so I didn't think the swaddle weaning process would go so quickly. She had a week of successful naps with one arm out, and three nights with one arm out. This morning at 5am was the deal breaker, her loud talking sounded more whiny than usual, so Aaron went to check on her since he was up getting ready to leave for work anyway. She had somehow managed to completely separate herself from her Miracle Blanket altogether, probably from kicking her socks off and then using her toes as monkey paws to clamor out of it.
So starting today, I put her in a long-sleeved onesie since our next blanketing option after the swaddle is this SleepSack "wearable blanket", which she has no way of monkey-footing her way out of. This is her in it after she went down for her first nap:
It zips from the neck down (opens at the bottom), so if I have to do a late-night diaper change, I don't need to remove it altogether.
How's it going? Well, she goes to sleep just fine, but she tends to wake up every 20-30 minutes when she starts having a sleep transition (from deep sleep to light sleep & REM) because she can move her arms around and startle herself. I think she likes her sleep as much as I do, so some of the times she wakes from a transition really mad (or maybe from a nightmare?). That's when the binkie comes in handy.
There may be more than just madness in her cry, too, since I felt a little bump when I was cleaning her gums this morning. Possibly a tooth, but I'm not certain, since she's not irritable other times, and nursing is still going well. Yeesh, I'm not ready for baby girl to have a tooth yet! I like these gummy grins she gives us!
