More Clearwater

We made a short day trip to Tarpon Springs the other day. We drove over during Maddie's morning nap, and she dozed in her carseat. I know she's really out when she spits out her binky. Not sure why her eyebrows are furrowed, as if she's concentrating really, really hard about sleeping.


My Auntie Norma & Uncle Oscar (does that make them Maddie's Grand-Aunt and Grand-Uncle?) live near Clearwater, and came by to visit us today. They haven't seen Maddie since she was a week old, and she's grown a lot since! Maddie usually takes a while to warm up to unfamiliar people, but she stretched her arms out to Lola Norma with hardly any hesitation! (Notice how tan Maddie's legs have gotten from her pool time?!)


Maddie's motor skills have gotten more refined while visiting here. We chose a good time to visit so her Mimi & Papa could also enjoy watching her grow. One of the skills she's gotten better at is pointing her index finger. She gets lots of practice with PapaJim, who has been known to teach his grandkids how to point while exclaiming, "YOU, YOU, YOU!"
