Madelyn is getting much more coordinated in her movements. Aaron had been watching to see if she was reaching her age-appropriate motor skill milestones, like passing a toy from one hand to another. She does it much more deliberately this week than last week.
Last week, Aaron was gone on a week-long hunting trip. When he returned, he was amazed with how much more dexterity, attention, and interaction she had gained in the one week he was away. She still loves this jumper gym (thanks, Erika and Kevin!), and recently is has been using her dexterity to make the beads in the front of this flower rattle around when she spins it. This video may bore some of you, but since she wasn't capable of doing this two weeks ago, it blows me away. Makes me wonder if she'll be left-handed like Grandpa Randy (who she also shares a birthday with)?
Not boring at all- amazing, in fact! That little girl has a mission! =)
ReplyDeleteIt is so fun to watch her developing!
