Nursery ideas

So I spent an extra 20 minutes in Target today to avoid a torrential downpour that started while I was shopping for a few quick items. It gave me some time to check out their nursery furniture and catalog of bedding patterns. I'm completely at a loss as to how to decorate the nursery. I know I don't want it to be only pink. I like a spectrum of colors together, more playful than pastel. Of course, leave it up to me to find my color inspiration from scrapbooking palettes, but here is the play of colors that I'd like to see some kind of combination of in the nursery (probably stick with ivory or cream walls):

If anybody happens to see any kind of crib linen sets with this combination of colors -or a similar mix- please let me know, either by leaving a comment here or sending me an email tip. Thanks!

  1. You can never go wrong with deep chocolate brown and rose pink, with cream, eggplant and sky blue accents! They are all complimentary colors, and very 50's classic or cool contemporary, or both. Love it. Love this baby blanket:

  2. Oh, and ivory would be better than cream, depending upon how dark the brown...
