I'm 2cm/50%/-3. I don't know why patients always look like they're going to do a backflip out of bed when they get their membranes swept. It didn't hurt me, I was talking through the whole thing.
I stopped by Sacred Heart to drop off some paperwork, I don't think I've heard the question "Are you still pregnant?" so many times in a matter of 5 minutes. They're all rooting for me to go into labor tonight, except one nurse who thinks I'll go one day overdue. One of the pregnant OB residents at Sacred Heart delivered yesterday, and a girl I know from Oak Leaf Club got induced and delivered yesterday at Naval Hospital. Just waiting for my turn...
Mom arrives tonight. Maybe that will be the catalyst. She can stress me out and I'll go into labor. That's what Art thinks will happen!
I'm not sure about the backflip thing either. Didn't bother me either! I did notice, however, that some doctors are a little more gentle than others! Midwives vs. OB's. I'm rooting for you soon!

I'm sorry, but I did a backflip. It hurt really bad. It could be a case of "who's doing it" and it could also be a matter of actual pain for others.
