Curly hair?

We gave Maddie her first sponge bath at home the other day. She protested the entire time, though I can't blame her. Her hair usually is straight when it's dry, partly due to me stroking her head with admiration all the time. But when it was wet after both her hospital bath and home sponge bath, it was curly and super cute. I had always hoped that she would get Aaron's curly hair. The reason we gave her a bath was because yesterday she had her first round of visitors (well, besides Lola Delia). Aaron's family came from Jacksonville and Missouri to see Maddie. We didn't grab any photos, because 1) our camera is on the fritz - we've been using our cell phone cameras, and 2) she slept the entire time they were here. They'll be here for several days, so they'll get lots of chances to hold her.

It matches the wall decal colors perfectly and it's just awesome to look at above her nursery window. I love it. No wonder everybody was trying to get us to tell them what we wanted to name her...he needed to know how much lumber to buy!

Aaron and I have been out of the house together with Maddie once so far, for her 2-day check up and to run some errands afterwards. She was a complete angel and slept the entire time, even in the process of transferring in and out of the stroller at the crazy commissary during a rainstorm. She's such a good sleeper!
