Good grief. My due date's just around the corner.
Tomorrow's the day. I don't think little one got the memo.
I read in the Bradley Method book that there was a woman who was determined to go into labor spontaneously without induction of her slow-growing baby and ended up carrying her pregnancy a full year (yes, their dates were solid). Seriously? I bet that placenta looked like a big calcium tablet.
I never gave any merit to the old wives' tales about foods being labor-inductive agents. But now I'm willing to try anything (except castor oil). Mom and I walked around the mall yesterday... no big contractions, just the same here-and-there cramping and tightening. We walked around the commissary today, same thing, no big whoop. Whenever I sit, it's on a labor ball. All my meals are laced with hot sauce, basil and/or oregano. I ate eggplant parmesan two days in a row. I've also eaten as much fresh pineapple as I can stand two days in a row. There's a big low pressure front here, bringing plenty of thunderstorms and showers. None of it is stirring up any activity in my body.
I'm going to pray very hard in church tomorrow.
Thanks for checking in. Anybody have any guesses about when she's coming?
I'll guess 40 4/7 SROM. Good luck!
