Nursery Wall Color

Okay, so I felt bad for not posting photos of the wall color when I said I would, so here's my best attempts. It's a little overcast today, so the sun won't completely wash out the color through the camera lens. Just keep in mind that the sunlight does warm the color to another shade than that pictured, too. So cool!

Here goes. I'll show each photo with flash and without flash. The overhead incandescent light in the room isn't on for any of these photos.

First, the entry with flash. This is sort of what it looks like when the sun is shining:

This lamp probably won't stay in this nursery. Here it is with flash:

So, there it is! The peachy-creamy-pinky color we chose. I'm glad we didn't go with something that had more pink in it, because the dark cherry floor stain really makes it look pinker than the paint color was intended to look. I am excited to see how it plays off of the bedding and crib!

  1. Now let me get this straight.... Aaron grew up griping that he lived in a pink house. Repeatedly he was told it was not pink, it was "New Leather". NOW I learn he has painted the nursery PINK. Sigh.... I guess I ought to be thankful it wasn't painted camo...Grandpa Myers.

  2. Wow, I LOVE that color. It's so beautiful in the light, and it's so gorgeous and classy with the dark brown of the floor.

This is going to be a lil' girl in love with rich, sensual but classy color combos!
